Serenity in Chains sponsored GLC women's cancer chairty!

Pandora inspired Hope bracelet
Serenity in Chains had the wonderful opportunity recently to give a little back to our local community again, and to support women that are suffering from or survivors of cancer!

"The Great Lakes Convoy, founded by survivor Michelle Dunn and Bolt Express owner -operator Jeanie Silk, is comprised of the women at Bolt Express and their family and friends.  They have come together fueled by their personal experience with the disease to promote a cause they are passionate about, women’s cancer. The idea is to celebrate the lives of survivors, those who have lost their battle and those who have not yet begun to fight, by raising funds to support awareness, prevention, and a cure for all women's cancers alike." - from http://greatlakesconvoy.org

Delicate Byzantine Hope Earrings
Our contribution to this amazing organization started with the beautiful logo you see above. We were contacted by a representative of GLC for Artisan Crystal's graphic arts skills. They were impressed with her logo work on other venues (including our own sites) and wanted to hire her to do an overhaul of their logo, which she was happy to do.

Shortly after completing the logo work, we were contacted again asking if we would like to become a sponsor of their Rock the Lot party in September. We were more than happy to accept and begin making jewelry that they would be able to auction off at the party.

We were happy to donate over 300.00 worth of products to GLC for the party on September 24th, and are pleased to announce that every pieces was sold.
